Readiness Pro
Always-current downtime readiness. Zero manual work.
Your IT team schedules a Clarity report to push to Lumenly's secure endpoint. When your Epic build changes, forms regenerate automatically. You get an alert, not a task.
No exports. No manual uploads. No reminders on a calendar.
Your IT team configures a scheduled Clarity Reporting job to push your flowsheet build and order set build export to Lumenly's secure endpoint. One-time setup, typically completed during implementation.
Once connected, Lumenly takes a scheduled snapshot of your Epic flowsheet build. When rows change, groups reorganize, or new assessments are added, Lumenly detects the diff and regenerates the affected downtime forms automatically. Your downtime binder is always current — without anyone on your team remembering to check.
- Outbound-only push from your Clarity Reporting
- Scheduled push frequency configurable by your IT team (daily, weekly)
- Diff-based regeneration — only changed forms are rebuilt
- No patient data in scope — build metadata only
Typical Implementation Timeline
Endpoint configuration
Your IT team configures a scheduled Clarity Reporting job to push your flowsheet build and order set build export on your preferred cadence.
Initial build snapshot
Lumenly ingests your current Epic flowsheet configuration and order set inventory and generates your first complete downtime form PDF kit.
Review + approve PDF kit
Clinical informatics and a charge nurse review the generated forms. Lumenly adjusts layout based on feedback.
Ongoing — automated
All subsequent updates are automatic. You receive an email alert when your Epic build drifts from your current downtime artifacts.
Order Set Optimization
A 30-page order set is not a downtime tool
Most Epic order sets were designed for on-screen use. During downtime, nurses and physicians are working from paper under time pressure. A 30-page pre-printed order set is unusable. Lumenly proposes a clinically essential 2-3 page version — ready to print and include in your downtime kit.
Step 1
Parse your Epic order set inventory
Lumenly reads your active Epic order sets via Clarity — the full list of items, pre-selected defaults, and clinical groupings. A typical 300-bed hospital has 50-200 active order sets.
Step 2
Lumenly proposes simplified version
Pre-checked default orders — the ones physicians most commonly want — are grouped into a condensed paper format. Items not pre-selected by default are omitted. The output is 2-3 pages per order set.
Step 3
Download simplified order sets in your PDF kit
The simplified order sets are included in your next PDF kit export alongside your flowsheet forms — ready to print and use during a downtime event.

Change Detection
Epic build drift is silent until it isn't
Your clinical informatics team makes changes to Epic's flowsheet configuration throughout the year — new assessment rows, retired medications, reorganized groups. Each change makes your printed downtime forms slightly less accurate.
Lumenly diffs each new snapshot against the previous one. When changes are detected, you receive an alert identifying exactly which forms are affected and what changed. The regenerated forms are queued for your review. You approve, not investigate.
Example alert: “3 forms affected by Epic build change”
Vital Signs Flowsheet — 2 rows added (SpO2 waveform, EtCO2). Nursing Assessment Flowsheet — 1 row retired (Braden Q). Regenerated forms ready for review.
