Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Lumenly Health platform (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Description of Service

Lumenly provides an AI-powered platform for EMR downtime recovery, including document processing, AI extraction of clinical data, clinician validation workflows, and HL7 message generation for reimport into electronic medical record systems.

HIPAA and PHI

The Service is designed for use with protected health information (PHI). No PHI may enter the Lumenly platform without a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) in place. You are responsible for ensuring all users in your organization are trained on appropriate PHI handling.

Acceptable Use

You may use the Service only for lawful EMR downtime recovery purposes. You may not use the Service to process data for patients outside your organization, to train or fine-tune AI models, or in any manner that violates applicable law including HIPAA.

Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the platform, including scanned documents and extracted clinical data. Lumenly does not claim any rights to your data and will not use it for any purpose other than providing the Service.

Limitation of Liability

The Service provides AI-assisted extraction to support clinician review — it does not replace clinical judgment. All AI-extracted data must be validated by a qualified clinician before export to your EMR. Lumenly is not liable for clinical decisions made on the basis of extracted data.
